Performance Parameters and Requirements for Compact Busways

Performance parameters and requirements for intensive busways:

2. Bus system AC TN-C system;

3. Protection level: IP55; Rated frequency: 50HZ; Rated insulation voltage: 660AC; Insulation resistance: 20M;

4. The busway should use at least 100% phase capacity, N wire PE wire requirements not less than 50% phase wire capacity, aluminum conductor shell is allowed as grounding, but it must be a reliable cross-section, 50% phase wire shell method;

5. The dense busway must ensure long-term stable operation under 110% rated current;

6. The current density must not be greater than 2A/MM;

7. The overall grounding ground wire ground wire used in the ground wire system wraps the phase wire and the neutral wire in all the wires, so as to isolate the directly charged part and block the magnetic circuit around the busbar at the same time, so as to ensure that the busway has reliable grounding performance, small reactance value, and strong anti-harmonic ability;

8. Dense busway conductor materials:

8.1. The high-conductivity TMY electrical hard copper bar rolled by T2 electrolytic copper rolled in the intensive busway A, B, C, N meets the purity requirements of the national standard copper bar ≥99.99%, the conductivity ≥ 98.6%, the reactance ≤0.00032s/mm/m, and the hardness HB≥65;

8.2. The full length of the surface of the dense busway copper bar must be tinned;

8.3. The material, cross-section and manufacturing process of the dense busway neutral wire are the same as the phase wire, and the neutral equivalent cross-section should be equal to 100% of the phase line equivalent cross-section;

8.4. The equivalent cross-section of the grounding conductor should not be less than 50% of the phase line equivalent cross-section bus grounding;

9. Dense busway insulation materials:

9.1. The busbar insulation medium should be made of flame retardant materials, and the insulation grade and heat resistance level should reach Class A or above, which can withstand high temperatures of 150°C and low temperatures of -60°CC, and will not release toxic gases in the event of fire.

9.2. The intensive busway insulation material adopts the process of overall covering each phase of copper bar, and the insulation aging life reaches more than 30 years;

9.3. It can maintain its flexibility and dielectric strength at an ambient temperature of -5°C-40°C for a long time and will not age. Dielectric strength> 80KV/mm, tensile strength 12Mpa;

9.4. The bidder shall provide relevant test reports for insulation materials;

10. Dense busway shell material:

10.1. In order to ensure the strength and stiffness of the busway and the heat dissipation effect, the side panel of the busway system shell must provide a corresponding report.

10.2. It adopts a fully enclosed form, has a compact structure, good thermal stability, and strong resistance to internal and external force impact;

10.3. The outer surface of the trunking should be anodixized to achieve a good anti-corrosion effect;

11. Other performance requirements of dense busways:

11.1. The connection between the dense bus and the transformer requires the use of copper conductor soft connection, low voltage plate and busbar connection to be hard connected;

11.2. In order to ensure good electrical contact performance, the dense bus joint part should be tinned or silver-plated. The contact between the joint conductors must be tin to tin contact to ensure low contact resistance;

11.3. Dense busbars should have measures to prevent the problems of busbar eddy current and dynamic thermal stability caused by electromagnetic induction. At the same time, measures to reduce eddy current or hysteresis losses should be explained.
